I know, we’re supposed to be talking about custom making costumes here. But after getting a little burned out (and just burned) with the Boulevard and becoming busy with other things (Batgirl’s in school!), we decided it was only fair to update this page.

Catwoman may still be able to help you out with building a Catwoman or Wonder Woman costume, but as of this time, no sewing for a custom fit. It’s a lot of work and it takes a long time for one person to do, and honestly, customs are not cheap! There are companies on eBay that will do customs in 6-8 weeks, which is much better than one of us with a single sewing machine can do, so look around. If you need help finding pieces or have questions you can still write Catwoman.

BatgirlAmidala is still working on designing accurate patterns for both Battle Arena Padmé and the 1960s Yvonne Craig version of Batgirl. Go on, complain, but I’d like to see you juggling two majors (possibly 3), mastering two languages and figuring out how to make clothing patterns in different sizes. Math isn’t my forte, people. 😉 But I’m finding alternatives to help you out of guilt for not being available myself, so write away if you need help.

I’m sorry we’re not as available as we would have liked to be in this area, but it really is an insane amount of work and we’re just not a clothes making business. It’s a fun hobby and easy to use ourselves as guinea pigs, but it really is draining trying to make exact replicas pretty much from air, let alone trying to do it for many different people in many different sizes. For now we’ll let companies who do this sort of thing full time do the work.

Hi, I used to love your vids and this blog and still do of course. as just wondering how things have panned out for you two -could I possibly have brief update on your news?
    Thanks

  2. 🙂 Glad to hear it! Well, Catwoman is working a real job in L.A. for now, with some exciting side projects she’s working on. I spent some time in France, but am trying to scrape together a bit more money in L.A. at the moment so I can continue adventuring. I’ve made a few short films and will probably film something this summer as well. I have my own blog at http://www.dreameroftheday.com and you can find Meg on twitter at twitter.com/monkeyscrews
